Vacation: Leg #2 STL Days 3, 4 & 4.5

I’m back for days 3 & 4.  We went to Grant’s farm on Tuesday.  Cooper loved feeding the goats and he had a great time eating his first ever snow cone and of course good popcorn.  Tim took him on the carousel and we had a great morning and afternoon at the farm.

After that, we took Cooper back to the hotel for a nap, and then we headed out to Forest park.  I didn’t bring the camera with me, but Forest Park is a great park.  So nice to go for a walk to wear the boy out before bedtime again.  We went down by a lake and watched the ducks and we saw some huge dogs out for a walk.  Such a great night!
Wednesday, we went to the St. Louis Zoo.  City Park and we walked around the city for awhile.  Cooper had an awesome time at the zoo.  If you haven’t visited St. Louis before, when you do, please make sure you visit their zoo.  It has free admission, and it is one of the best zoos I have ever been to.  I took Cooper on the carousel at the zoo.  Fun fun.
City Park was our next step.  We had driven by the park previously, and had planned on going back, but we didn’t plan on doing it that particular time, but it was convenient, so we stopped.  They have a sidewalk with water spouts that kids can play in.  We didn’t have Cooper’s swim trunks or a swim diaper, but luckily he’s still cute enough with just a diaper on that we took advantage.  I’m so glad we did, he had a great time running through all of the spouts.  We let him play in the water for about 20 min and it was so fun watching him.
Then we walked down and took some pictures of the arch by the city buildings.  It was a nice day.

Thursday morning we were heading back to Indianapolis, but not before we went down to the arch for a few pictures….

Well, that’s it for leg 2 of our 3 part vacation.  So long St. Louis, I’ll be back in a couple of days to hopefully wrap up leg #3.
Happy Monday, have a great week!
