24 Weeks

Week 24! Only about 16 weeks go to now! Cooper is growing and kicking up a storm these last few days! Not much else new with baby other than the kicking, he's been doing a lot of that, and I'm enjoying every minute of it so far! The best way I can describe it is like washing tennis shoes and then drying them in the dryer with them hitting the sides of the dryer randomly. I never know when it'll happen, and when it does, its surprising and entertaining!

I am one day late posting this, but this last week has been an exciting and busy one! Last weekend was Father's day weekend. We worked on Andrew's new room and got it primed last Saturday, I baked up a storm on Saturday, and Erica came over to help Tim paint the entry way, which is now got two coats on it and it looks very good! Only two walls left in the new living room and all of the wall painting will be done in there!

Sunday - I headed down to my brother's house to have lunch with him, Casey, Larissa, Layne and Dad for Father's day. Tim and the kids went out to lunch and then to a movie. Once I left, Tim started painting in Andrew's room to get the first coat of red paint on the walls.

Monday - didn't do much this night, just hung around after dinner.

Tuesday - Erica, Stephanie, Lauren and I went to see The Proposal while Tim and Andrew went golfing. When we got home, Andrew was putting the second coat of paint on his walls to finish that!

Wednesday - We showed our camper to a potential buyer - which took all evening, Andrew went to a movie and Steph was at her mom's for the evening.

Thursday - We brought the camper to the house for the potential buyer and so hopefully we'll have the camper sold this weekend!

Not sure what we're doing tonight, but this weekend we have a baby show to go to, church, laundry, groceries and the rest of the usual weekend activities. Should be tons of fun!

23 weeks

I am now 23 weeks pregnant! Today I had an OB visit, the doc measured me and I measured 24 weeks along, so I am a week bigger than I am. Which is fine! Everything else is going well, although I think my insulin needs are increasing. My diabetic doctor said that this would happen between weeks 22 and 26 so I was expecting it.

Progress is being made around the house, we got the first coat of paint on the entry way last night, thanks to Erica for standing up high on the ladder and doing all of the hard stuff! We love you!

Tomorrow night we are going to Wicked. I've been wanting to see this play for several years, so I cannot wait!! Saturday I am planning on painting some more as well as making some cookies and perhaps something else for Father's day.

I think that is about all that's going on here this week!

22 weeks and 1st Baby Bump Picture

Hello!

I am now 22 weeks pregnant! A little over 1/2 way there! Cooper is definitely expanding in my belly, I've got quite a bump going on! See picture below. We have another doctor's appointment on the 18th - just the monthy OB visit. Everything should be ok, we'll just see what the doc says. Everything is going fine with my sugar levels, so I am hoping that Cooper doesn't swell to be the size of a 3 month old =)

My friend Shannon is due any day now, she headed into the hospital last night, she may have already had him by now. I hope her baby boy Jackson Dean and Cooper can be great friends!

We have been very busy this week, I had class on Monday night, Andrew's spring sports banquet on Tuesday evening, Wednesday we were home working on the house, tonight we have my MBA banquet and hopefully we'll be home Friday night to work on the house as well. Saturday our neighborhood is having a garage sale, and we hope to at least go to it. My mom is coming up Saturday evening. We hope to work on the house and stay around here all weekend. It should be a nice weekend.

Tim has steadily been working on our house, and little by little it is coming along! We are hoping to get Andrew's room finished next week so that he can start moving his stuff in. We are going to put new carpet on the stairs, Andrew's current room (Cooper's future room) and Steph's room sometime later this summer, as well as a new sliding glass door downstairs. We've still got some painting to do in the downstairs, and also new trim to get finished along with the installation of one more door. Things are moving along, however slowly!

Cooper James @ 21 weeks!

Here are pictures of our little boy! We had the 3D ultrasound today! He is about 10 inches long and weighs about 15 oz according to the ultrasound nurse. Cooper is a very healthy baby from what they can tell, he is measuring 21 weeks 6 days, which means he's measuring about 6 days older than what he is, but we'll see if he stays this way over the coming weeks.

He sure is a mover! He was squriming all over the place this morning, so neat to see him kicking around in there. I still cannot feel him, and the nurse said that when I do, perhaps it would be in my sides and my back more than in front.

Tim and I are so happy and excited for our little boy to continue to grow and cannot wait for October to get here so that we can meet him!
