Thankful Thursday
Today I’m linking up with Julia and Jamie for Thankful Thursday. Tell us what you’re thankful for and link up!
On this Thursday, I’m thankful for:
1) These BEAutiful flowers my husband got me last weekend! So PRETTY!
2) This precious little boy who makes every day of my life a happier place!
3) Husband. Who DVRs baseball games so that he can lay with our son to watch baseball together. He is so good to both of us and I love him so.
4) Tie-Dyed T-shirts. I saw this one at the Indiana State Fair last week. Unfortunately, I didn’t bring enough $ with me to buy it that day, but lucky for me, my dad picked it up for me when he went and so I’ve got me one of these bright, beautiful shirts!
5) Funny, entertaining things. Hubby and I had date night last Friday night, we say this “Chicken Limo” and in front of it was the “Hippo Bus.” I’m thankful that there are these funny things in life that can make my take on life a little lighter.
6) Stephanie. My step-daughter, friend and great sister to Cooper. I’m so fortunate for her in my life.
7) My Madre! I’m don’t have enough words to say how much this lady means to me. I love you Mama!
Link up and tell us what you’re thankful for today! Happy Thursday and have a great weekend everyone!

Indiana State Fair
We go at least twice during the 17 day event. We went the first time on Thursday August 11, 2011 with my Mom, Shawn, and Stephanie. It was a good time.
We had a few good treats that night too.
Here are some pictures:
The second day we went was the next Saturday, the 13th. We visited all of the animals again, and then in the evening, we watched the clogging group that I used to clog with, the Circle City Cloggers. Cooper had a great time dancing with the cloggers. Here is a picture with a horse from that day, and then some of Cooper dancing, he was so cute!
I cannot believe the fair has come and gone, and I am still praying for all of the folks who were hurt and the families of those who lost their lives in the horrible stage collapse at the Sugarland concert.

Stephanie’s Wedding Shower
On July 23rd, Steph had a wedding shower. Her friend, Jess, threw her the shower. It was a good time. We played games, ate lots of good food, and visited with some of Stephanie’s friends.
Stephanie also got some really good gifts. She’s so appreciative to have such good friends and family.
Here are a few pictures of the event.
The Food Table
The Gift Table before everyone arrived.
The decorated table… scrapbook paper for sweet messages to the bride and groom. For their wedding scrapbook.
The Bride.
As people came into the place, we took pictures of Stephanie with each and everyone, so that she could use these for her scrapbook page and so that she can have memories of her shower for the rest of her life.
Steph received many wonderful gifts and only had a few things to take back after it was all over. Gift registries still have a ways to go, but all in all, they are awesome!
Steph had a good time and a good shower.

Wedding News….
6.9.11 Stephanie and Ryan became Mr. & Mrs. Ryan Bramlett. They got married, tied the knot, got hitched.
They decided the previous Sunday that they weren’t going to wait until their original date 6.9.12 – they wanted to get married quicker than that. So, Steph and Ryan got all prettied up and got married first thing on Thursday June 9th.
It was a quick ceremony conducted by a family court judge and the courthouse. But it was sweet. Here are some pictures of the big day.
This is the day that “The Johnson Five” became The Johnson Four…. but, we’re really just going to consider that we have expanded and now our family pictures will include Ryan and so we’ll have 4 “Johnson’s” and 2 “Bramlett’s”

My Favorite iPhone Apps
Since everyone and their mother now has an iPhone, I thought I’d share my favorite apps with you. I’m sure that most of these are pretty common, but if not, go and partake!
A couple of things to note. 1) I am cheap and I don’t like to pay for apps, at least very often and 2) I like to shop.
My latest favorite app:
heytell! it’s a lot like an old walkie talkie, or a push-to-talk phone of the past. I just love it! My Stephanie told me about this app this past weekend and I’m hooked, it’s super fun. It’s for those conversations you want to have without the commitment of a phone call yet hearing a voice is nice!
Words with Friends: I’m sure you’ve heard of this one. It’s a nice little scrabble game that you can play with all of your friends, enemies and anyone random via their random opponent option. If you wanna play with me, comment and I’ll email you back with my username! FYI. I stink at this game, I hardly ever win and you’ll have a pretty good chance of whoopin’ me! :)
Shopping Apps:
Woot! If you haven’t heard of Woot before, download this. Woot is fun and you can get one heck of a bargain on items if you watch it daily.
Amazon app. What a great app. I can shop for virtually anything on the go. Love it!
Craigsphone. Love it! Craigslist is awesome and craigslist on my iPhone is beyond awesome.
ebay for iPhone. What can be better?
Just a couple more, and these are not shopping apps.
Instagram: An amazing app that gives all kinds of filters for your awesome pictures. love love love it!
For Twitter:
Echofon: Love to read my twitter feed through this app. It has ads at the top, but quickly you are able to see the latest tweets by all of the people you are stalking. haha. if you want, send me a tweet my twitter name is @emjohnson7
For Facebook and Twitter: Hootsuite: I can do status updates for Twitter and Facebook at the same time with this lovely app. I can also see feeds from both. You can update linkedin, facebook, twitter and even update multiple accounts of each all through this account. It’s nice. Give it a whirl!
Well, that’s it for now, those are my favorite apps, I hope you enjoy and please, share your favorite apps with me! :) Have a great Tuesday ladies and gents!
