WEEKEND!

I love weekends. They are what keep me sane and I am so thankful for them. Now, I wish they could all be three day weekends, but two days are certainly nice too.

Saturday, The Johnson Five slept in until 12:30pm. Cooper, Tim, and I did get up for about an hour and a half but were back in bed sleeping by 1oam. After we finally got up, we fed Cooper, then Tim made omelets, oh goodness, he was trying some new methods and ended up wasting 4 eggs. Andrew mowed the lawn and it looks so nice, but in the meantime I think he burned up, it was sooooooo hot outside. Then we cleaned up some and went swimming with Steph and Ryan. It was a great day for swimming. Later we went to Mug-n-Bun, it was the first time Tim and I had been there, it was pretty good. Then home to take Cooper for a short walk in his new Radio Flyer wagon and then swimming again.

Sunday so far, we've been doing laundry, grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning and general get ready for the new week type of stuff. Cooper took a bath in his green beans during lunch time. I made pizza on the grill and listed several of my old Boyd's Bears on ebay. Hopefully they'll sell, even if I only make a dollar or two on each, I'll be happy, just to make something on them!

One day last week, Tim and I went to Qdoba for breakfast because we had a bogo free coupon. Oh boy, those are yummy! Soooo..... we decided we're going to try to copy them and make breakfast burritos at home in the mornings. We bought all the goodies, the only thing we don't really have a replacement for is their queso, but we'll use shredded cheese and see how that works. I'm excited to try that this week, we already grilled the chicken and also got the potatoes all cooked up, so in the mornings we'll just have to warm up those things and make the eggs.

Lately we haven't seen much of Andrew, he is with his girlfriend a lot, and when he's not with her, he seems to be working. I guess this is just a preview of what we'll have once he goes to IU in the fall. Hard to believe that in less than one month Tim will be moving Andrew in to school. We miss him already, I don't know what we'll do when he's gone. After awhile we'll get used to it I assume.
